| USA | 08/22/2001 | The Nimbus Cloud of Roshi |
Blooma and Gokuu safely bring the turtle back to the ocean, and the turtle's master, Kamesennin, comes to thank them. As a gift, Kamesennin gives Gokuu a special cloud he can ride on called Kintoun. He also gives a Dragon Ball to Blooma, but she has to flash her panties for it!

| Thoughts |

This one is possibly more infamous than the "no balls" episode, but they managed to work around it much better. You have to admit, the "bellybutton" business was pretty clever. They could've just had him give her the Dragon Ball for no apparent reason, after all.

| Names/Terms |
Kamesennin is rightfully translated as the "Turtle Hermit", though he is very rarely called that in the dub. His other name, Mutenroushi, is translated as Master Roshi. (The "roushi" part of his name is the part that most closely means "master", so it's just redundancy, and "muten" is not preserved at all.)
The magic cloud is changed from Kintoun to "Flying Nimbus".

| Dialogue |

In the dub, Kamesennin introduces himself as "Roshi the Turtle Hermit", where he should've only said "Turtle Hermit", no "Roshi". In the original, he simply introduces himself as "Kamesennin". At this point, he's only supposed to be known as Kamesennin/Turtle Hermit. In Episode 007, Yamcha talks about Mutenroushi/Master Roshi being the one to have trained SON Gohan and Gyuumaou. And when Gokuu meets Gyuumaou and explains that he got Kintoun from Kamesennin/Turtle Hermit, Gyuumaou says that that's Mutenroushi/Master Roshi. It's supposed to be an interesting plot twist that the old pervert from the beach turns out to be a famous fighting master who'd trained Gokuu's grandpa and the dreaded Gyuumaou! Also, Blooma, Gokuu, and Umigame almost never call him "Mutenroushi" because of this.

| Other |
Kamesennin calling for the Phoenix (who died of food poisoning) is changed to calling for the magic carpet. Maybe because it doesn't translate so well. The Japanese word for Phoenix is "fushichou", which literally means "undying bird", and stating that the Undyingbird died is a bit more profound than saying the Phoenix died, unless you're a mythology buff.

(25 seconds) This happens after Kamesennin yells at Umigame. Blooma nervously agrees to it, then lifts up her skirt and shows him...that she isn't wearing any panties... All we see is her bare ass and torso, but Kamesennin gets the full show.

| Dialogue |
Kamesennin wondering about giving Blooma his briefs in turn is written out. As is his asking aloud and Blooma yelling at him for it.
| Alteration |
Kamesennin's nosebleed after Blooma shows him again (or the first time in the dub) is painted out.
| Cut |
(68 seconds) This happens after everyone leaves the beach. Blooma goes back into the capsule house so they can leave again, and she finds her panties, and Gokuu comes in and admits he took those, not seeing the problem. And so she starts firing at him with a machine gun.

| Cut |
(3 seconds) After Blooma puts the house back in its capsule, a clip of Gokuu rubbing his head from gunshots is cut.
