With the first quarterfinal match passed, the second and third matches begin. Jackie Chun, who is secretly Kamesennin in disguise, makes easy work of Yamcha, and lectures him in the process. After that, the noble Namu uses his faith to overcome the feminine wiles of Lanfan.

The Lanfan episode. (I seem to have nicknames for all the prominant ones...) This one was difficult to work around, and they didn't really do a good job of it. Over two minutes were chopped from the fight; it looked pretty sloppy on TV. I don't think it was the only way. They could've gotten creative with digital paint and turned it into a bikini, or something like Lunch's inoffensive lingerie. Sorry to say, but this just sucked. Oh yeah, and this is the second time I get to use the phrase, "green fart gas coming out of Kuririn's ass".

In the recap, after the gong sounds, 6 seconds of Bacterian digging around in his drawers and waving his hand in Kuririn's face is cut. And it's replaced with 6 seconds of Kuririn just getting grossed out from Bacterian's smell.

(54 seconds) After Yamcha realizes Jackie and Mutenroushi must be one and the same, footage of Lanfan strutting across the ring, with Jackie excited and Namu freaked out, is cut.

After Namu has the mid-match flashback, 27 seconds are cut: Lanfan charges at Namu, and so Namu decides he'll close his eyes to attack her. So Namu then chops her on the back of the neck. In the dub, this is replaced with 6 seconds of: Lanfan getting pissed, Namu then attacking her and she dodges it (we're to believe he does hit her, and she's knocked back), and a shot of Yamcha freaked out.
