It turns out that Hatchan had the area's Dragon Ball all along, to keep it safe from the bad guys, and to keep the villagers from being expendable. It's not the Si Xing Qiu, but Gokuu prepares to depart with the ball anyway. A villager also informs Gokuu that his Kintoun couldn't have been destroyed, and so Gokuu flies off on his beloved cloud again. His Dragon Radar is broken, so he heads to the Western Capital, where Blooma lives, so she can fix it.

Guns and cigarettes and vocal songs, oh my! All of them apparently inappropriate for American television. Other than that, not much to say about this episode, other than it starts off the Western Capital mini-arc, which is full of many, many cigarettes.

What I call the Western Capital is simply called West City in the dub, which isn't inherently wrong at all.

During the scene with Gokuu riding on Kintoun after leaving Jingle Village, the song Son Gokuu Song, by NOZAWA Masako, is taken out.
