Gokuu arrives at Blooma's home, Capsule Corporation, where she not only fixes his Dragon Radar, but decides to join him in his search. Meanwhile, the Red Ribbon Army has hired a thief named Husky to steal Gokuu's Dragon Balls.

Aha, the introduction of Dr. Brief. Those of you who were fans of Chris Psaros may recall what an annoyance he could be. But he wasn't even the only smoker in this episode, and there was also booze and guns to deal with. Quite a bit of work for me (and FUNi's snippers and digital painters).

I don't remember if it's even mentioned in this episode, but Dr. Brief does retain his name in the dub. (Or is it "Briefs" in the dub? I really don't know, but either way that's insignificant.) However, a persistent problem is that FUNi's writers assumed "Brief(s)" to be the family name, which is NEVER implied in the original Japanese AT ALL.
Husky's name is changed to Haski. Her name is written in Japanese exactly like the approximation for the word "husky," so, yeah...
