Gokuu comes to a village being terrorized by a monster named Inoshikachou: part boar, part deer, part butterfly! But two other warriors, Tenshinhan and Jiaozi, take Inoshikachou out, and receive a reward for it. When Gokuu comes to another village where the same thing happens, he learns that Inoshikachou is in cahoots with those other warriors. When Gokuu attempts to reveal this to some villagers, Tenshinhan and Jiaozi turn on Inoshikachou. But Gokuu befriends the beast, and gains some training from play-fighting with him.
