Piccolo has killed off all of The King's guards, and demands that The King announce to the world that Piccolo will be their new ruler. Meanwhile, Tenshinhan informs the gang at Kame House that Kamesennin, Jiaozi, and Shenlong are dead, as well as his intentions to use Mafuuba. Gokuu and Yajirobe also reach the top of Karin Tou, where Karin-sama explains that even Kamesennin was killed by Piccolo. He cannot train Gokuu any further, but he does have the Super God Water...

(2 seconds) Right after The King's guard in the escape plane pulls out a gun, a clip of him visibly firing the gun is cut. I don't see the point; they left in the guard holding the gun in his hand, and we can see gunfire hitting Piccolo after the cut...

Kamesennin says "I'm the turtle hermit" in the dub flashback. I wish he'd said only that in Episode 003. But more importantly, in the flashback, what Kamesennin says to the mermaid is edited down, same as it was in 014 (line for line, IIRC).
