Piccolo threatens to kill Tenshinhan as leverage against Gokuu, and so Piccolo uses this opportunity to take out Gokuu's good leg, and one of his arms. However, with his one remaining arm, Gokuu focuses all of his power into one punch, destroying Piccolo in the process. But not before Piccolo secretly creates one last egg, to later hatch and avenge him. Yajirobee soon arrives, and takes Gokuu to get healed by Karin-sama.

In the shots of Gokuu just after he drops from Kintoun, a tiny streak of blood coming from his mouth is painted out.

(39 seconds) When Piccolo is holding Tenshinhan up by the head, a big chunk of the scene is cut. Piccolo threatens Gokuu that if he moves, he'll crush Tenshinhan. He even squeezes his head some. And there's the usual "don't worry about me, just defeat him" and stuff.

(15 seconds) After Gokuu yells at Piccolo following the Yajirobe/missile scene, a clip of Piccolo still holding up Tenshinhan is cut.

(10 seconds) Just after Piccolo first bends down to pick up the rock, footage of Piccolo holding up Tenshinhan, and threatening to kill him if Gokuu moves, is cut.

When the rock drops to the ground after it hits Gokuu, blood is painted off of it. Gokuu blood.

| Alteration |
|
After Piccolo first laughs at Gokuu for his arm being out of commission, 10 seconds of Piccolo lecturing Gokuu about being naive and weak is cut, because he is holding up Tenshinhan. But, it's replaced with 10 seconds of other footage.

When Piccolo hears Gokuu's intention to let Tenshinhan die, since he can be revived by Shen-lung, the scrolling shot of Tenshinhan is frozen weirdly, and the scrolling looks choppy, because a small trickle of blood is painted from his mouth.

|
After that previous shot of Tenshinhan, a 5 second shot of Piccolo holding up Tenshinhan is replaced with...a 5 second shot of Piccolo holding up Tenshinhan. The footage replacement rather than chopping is for the sake of the dialogue, where Piccolo laughs and says he killed Shen-lung. It took me a few minutes to realize it, but there is some consistency to this Tenshinhan thing: they're cutting out all the shots where you can see that Tenshinhan's feet are off the ground. In the dub, it just looks like Tenshinhan is standing up, and Piccolo is grabbing his head. But really, Tenshinhan is being held up in the air by his head, and I guess that was deemed too severe for TV.

In the shot of Tenshinhan as he's watching Gokuu fall down from the second rock, the trickle of blood is painted from his face. It's kind of amazing they've left the rocks alone. I know Gokuu's lack of limbs is very signifigant to the plot, but they didn't tone it down at all! Thumbs up.

All shots of Tenshinhan in the crater have the trickle of blood painted out. (But not every shot in the episode.)

(32 seconds) This takes place after the big boom. Gokuu slowly and dramatically flies straight through Piccolo's torso, and you can see the big hole in his chest. And Gokuu tears up a little before he screams, "KATTA ZO!!!!!" But you know, I swear I've seen this scene at least partially unedited in the flashback in DBZ. I could be remembering wrong, but I know I've seen the Cell saga edited a lot more times than I've seen it unedited.

(7 seconds) After Gokuu starts to fall to the ground, a clip of Piccolo feeling the big hole in his chest is cut.

When Piccolo is lifting up his hands to look at them, blood is painted off of his hands.

(7 seconds) After Piccolo says it's not over yet, a clip of him coughing up the egg is cut. They've left that alone before; it's probably because the hole in his chest is partially visible.

(3 seconds) After the egg flies off the screen, a shot of the hole in Piccolo's chest scrolling up to his face is cut.
