Baba reveals that the flames surrounding the castle are caused by a furnace located at Mount Gogyou. The journey is a difficult one, but upon reaching the furnace, Gokuu and Chichi find that Gokuu's grandpa is a servant to the furnace keeper, Annin. Annin says the world would fall into disaster if she cut off the furnace's flames.
